Our Story

Proud father of Davis! Always leading by example when it comes to staying active, eating well, and enjoying great company. Whether he’s on a bike, behind the grill, or telling a story, he brings energy and joy wherever he goes.

Mark Petrash

Proud mother of Davis! Equal parts question queen, animal whisperer, and endless source of love and encouragement. You can usually find her mid-interview with a stranger’s dog or deep in conversation about life’s great mysteries.

Ryan’s hero and lifelong example of integrity, adventure, and grit. From river rafting and backpacking to navigating life’s tougher trails, he’s shown Ryan what strength, humor, and kindness look like in action.

Mother of the groom, lover of good wine, and proof that life and love get even better with time. Quick-witted, full of grace, and the ultimate hostess. There’s never been a moment’s doubt that she was meant to be his mom.

As Ryan’s younger brother, Brandan has been following in his footsteps since day one which also means he’s always had his back. The definition of unconditional love and quiet strength, he’s the kind of guy who shows up for everyone. It’s no surprise he’s standing by Ryan’s side today since he’s been doing it his whole life.

Maid of Honor, and Davis’s other life partner. From their first days in Hawaii to six shared homes later, their adventures have come in all sizes—most of them fun-sized, just like Lauren. She’s also been there from the very beginning of Davis and Ryan’s love story—building a friendship with Ryan all her own. They may be opposites in just about everything, but together they strike the perfect balance—proof that family comes in all kinds of combinations.

Mila is Brandan’s +1 and a rockstar teacher who somehow manages to stay patient with both students and this family crew. We’re thrilled she’s joining the adventure!

Mila Jenkens

Brought into the mix by Lauren and couldn’t be a better addition to the crew. He may not eat eggs, but he does fly planes (unconfirmed) so we’re happy to overlook it. Kind, funny, and always up for an adventure, we’re so glad he’s officially part of the family orbit now.

Matt Paxon

Davis’s oldest (and proudly goofiest) brother. He’ll keep your glass full, your spirits high, and your dance moves questionable. Known for his big laugh, generous heart, and ability to turn any gathering into a party, Kenan brings the fun wherever he goes.

Kenan Petrash

Davis’s middle brother who made sure she never took herself too seriously. The most educated Petrash and an amazing cook—if we didn’t have caterers, he’d be in charge of the menu.

Carson Petrash

Carson’s better half! She communicates best through giggles, laughs, and the occasional snort. Fueled by sugar and good company, she’s running purely on laughter and dessert.

Daryl Canto-Ortega

Also known as the Vibe Master, Malachi and Ryan forged their friendship as Navy divers and never looked back. A yoga teacher, CrossFit coach, and part of their Hawaii sailing crew, he brings balance to every adventure. Officiating their ceremony, he’s not just part of Ryan and Davis’s story, he’s helping write it.

Don’t let her quiet voice fool you, Leanne’s the type who can out-surf, out-run, and out-charm us all. We met her when Malachi snuck her through Kauai lockdown and onto the sailboat and she’s long since become one of our favorite people. The calm to our chaos.

Davis and Katie met as transfer students in a big Colorado high school and quickly became inseparable. What started as two girls finding their footing turned into a lifelong friendship spanning 13 countries and countless memories. Now living in Switzerland, Katie remains one of Davis’s truest constants—a best friend in every sense, no matter the distance.

Tatiana is Katie’s wife and Liam’s incredible mom, originally from Germany and now based in Switzerland. A PhD and all-around powerhouse, she’s as sharp as she is kind and always makes it look effortless. She also makes a mean steak, which has earned her lifelong dinner invitation privileges.

Ryan's ride or die and the first phone call in Ryan's Zombie Apocalypse plan. When they found out that they went to school at the same place, studied the same thing, worked the same job, lived on the same type of boat in the same harbor on the same island.... they kinda figured they should be friends. 

Jake Nelson

Sav first crossed paths with Ryan where he immediately decided she’d be perfect for his friend Jake. Fast forward: they’re married with a baby boy, and Ryan’s matchmaking record remains undefeated. A fashion grad with a love of sunshine, shopping, and cute cocktails, Sav somehow balances it all, plus her full-time job of keeping Jake out of trouble. Sav should of named her cat "Sav cat". Everyone agrees. 

Savana Nelson

Ryan’s high school classmate and the guy who somehow turns every hangout into a highlight reel. Reunited years later in Seattle, Jesse and Micaela quickly became a staple of ski trips and nonstop laughter. If there’s laughter echoing somewhere, odds are Jesse’s in the middle of it.

The sweetest voice of reason in a group full of chaos. As a new mom and seasoned expert at keeping the boys in line, Micaela brings calm, kindness, and just the right amount of side-eye when things get rowdy.

Nick and Ryan go back to 7th grade where Ryan tortured the mild mannered Nick with wild exploits and poor decisions. Not sure why he is still around. He lives in Japan now, which we assume is far enough away to recover.

Davis and Courtney met as travel nurses in Hawaii and quickly became partners in adventure. Bonded by music, spontaneity, and one unforgettable encounter with Drake, their friendship is the perfect mix of rhythm, laughter, and shared wanderlust.

Lindsey and Davis met while leading together on a ropes course and have been tackling adventures (and pizza) ever since. They moved to NYC with the noble mission of trying every slice on Manhattan Island—an endeavor that proved both delicious and impossible. Bonus: Lindsey has elite music taste. Ask her for a playlist.

Meghan and Davis went to the same high school but somehow never met.  The proof that good things take time. She’s into art, great food, and the kind of hugs that make you forget what you were worrying about. Known for her ability to fall asleep in the middle of a party, she’s living proof that balance is everything.

Karlie and Davis met in kindergarten, where they once dreamed of big weddings and fairytale futures. Now a world traveler and proud mom of three, Karlie’s adventures may have taken her far and wide, but her friendship with Davis always finds its way home.

Mother to Karlie, Tray is and tamer of all things chaos.  Karlie and Davis spent much of their childhood running a muck in her domain.   With her parenting résumé, she's been promoted to Head of Pool Safety because if she can keep four kids alive, this should be easy.

Andy is Bonnie’s +1 and the kind of guy who makes everyone feel at ease. With a great sense of humor and easygoing energy, he’s here for the good times and the great company.

These days, BK has become a talented wedding photographer with a knack for capturing moments that feel real. We’re so excited to have him and his wife Alexa joining us to document our big day.

For guests traveling by train, we will can pick you up with our van available for pick-up from the Sinalunga Train Station (53048, Province of Siena, Italy) to the villa.Please let us know your arrival time in advance so we can coordinate your transfer smoothly.
